GIVE THE GIFT OF HOPE! This Christmas Anger & Self Abuse Overcome Anxiety Enhance Communication Skills Personal Growth & Development Build self-esteem Autism Spectrum Disorder STORY BOOK MEADOWS Story Book Meadows: a place where stories unfold and happy endings are possible! New to the Alliston area, located in the rolling hills of Loretto, is a peaceful ranch where children, youth and adults can find healing, restoration and personal growth. Experience the transformative powers of horses as teachers and healers in a non-threatening, faith based atmosphere. Through Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and hands on exercises with horses, participants grow personally and professionally as they gain self-knowledge and acquire skills. “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I learn. Involve me and I remember.” Benjamin Franklin Develop Teamwork & Leadership Skills Relationships Restored Discover the healing power of horses with Equine-Assisted Learning

TRISH ANDROS CARLO Certified Professional Life Coach Certified Experiential Learning Coach Certified Eagala Equine Specialist Loretto, Ontario WHY HORSES? Horses are intuitive animals and acutely perceptive of their surroundings. Through their attentiveness to the present, they mirror the emotions of those interacting with them. Their emotional and physical responses demonstrate to the participant, in a non-judgmental way where changes are needed in order to achieve goals. Horses are large and powerful, which creates a natural opportunity for some to overcome fear and build confidence. Accomplishing a task involving a horse, in spite of those fears, develops inner strength and security, and provides for wonderful metaphors when dealing with other intimidating and challenging life situations. No horse experience is required; all activities are done from the ground. PROGRAMS FEATURED: Youth: During activities with horses, youth learn alternative ways to respond rather than to react to various situations. They find hope for their life challenging issues as they experience changes with the horses and discover who they are. Family: Equine activities are designed to develop parent-child bonding and build strong communication skills and more respectful relationships for the family. Domestic Violence: Horses will provide teaching support in relational skills such as courage, boundary setting, self respect and respect from your children. Addictions: Through the equine activities the many faces of addiction will fade as individuals become aware of their personal triggers and they develop relapse prevention mechanisms.
