Coaches With Clients presents... “The Rapid Coaching Academy: Professional Coach Training System…” Session #6: Optimize Your Environment

“You’re About To Discover…” How to greatly impact your client’s success through helping them make changes to their surroundings Plus, this is something you can do yourself Before we get started, how is your coaching going and upgrading skills?

“Optimizing Your Environment…” Environment is a hidden determinate to success or failure Imagine if you were born in a different country What would be different? Why would it be different? Imagine you were born in a different time How might you be different as a person?

“Swimming In Our Environment...” Just by being in a different environment, we would have a different mindset Part of our environment is the air we breathe We don’t even notice it What happens to a fish if the water gets dirty? Subtle shifts to the environment are not as noticeable as dramatic shifts The people you surround yourself with can be huge

“Environment Is A Subtle Thing...” And yet, its impact is powerful It’s like a stream of water… It doesn’t seem like it’s doing that much until years later when it’s carved a pathway through the earth

“Physical Environments…” There’s 3 main types of environments: 1.Physical 1.Your body 2.Physical surroundings 1.Weather 2.Aesthetics 3.Feng Shui 4.Ergonomics 3.Technology

“Mental Environments...” Your mental environment is second What kind of thoughts and ideas do you have? Old beliefs and conditioning from everything we’ve been exposed to your whole life Old conditioning: Society, friends, family, church, etc. What you’re taking in right now: television, radio, books, movies, magazines, etc Advertising Movies (great movies can be inspiring)

“Our Thoughts Create Our Reality...” As A Man Thinketh, James Allen “Our thoughts create our reality.” Our thoughts create our perception of our current reality What we think about creates our future reality Power beliefs of successful coaches The Science of Getting Rich, Wallace D. Wattles

“People As Environments...” Friends, coach, mastermind group, personal trainer, spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, business team, virtual assistant If you took the average income of your five closest friends that would be very close to your income We absorb through osmosis some of their thought patterns, beliefs, and ideas The people you surround yourself with are really important

“Working With Clients…” Environment is actually something very few coaches work with clients on 3-5% of your time would have to do with the environment Discuss the concept of environment, talk about the three types of environment and discuss it as it relates to their goals “What are some things in your environment that make it difficult for you to do that?” “How can you make changes to your environment?”

“Working With Clients…” Environments might be its own thing, independent of achieving a goal “Are there any shifts to your environment that might make you just happier or bring you more peace?” Have a conversation about how these pieces of their environment may be impacting their success Create a plan “Okay, what are some of the things that you are going to shift in your environment?” Check back in with them about it

“Q&A: What Do You Do When You Don’t Have A Choice In Your Environment?” There’s a lot to learn there, within yourself; learning within your environment A mentor said, “If you hate your job you should stay there and perfect it and only leave once you’ve overcome the challenge.” I say “Get the hell out as soon as you can.” Every situation is unique and different We’re not stuck, we can work on ourselves, we can work on other people, we can leave the environment

“Homework…” Connect with your trios and optimize your environments What can you do to your environment to bring you more of what you want? Everything we want, we want because of how it will make us feel You can actually build things into your environment to help you have that now

“Q&A: About Clutter & Disorganization… You’re not alone in this lack of organization thing Being disorganized does not mean you can’t be successful or make a lot of money Sometimes you can still be successful in spite of your environments Environments can make you successful Simplify Don’t beat yourself up
