 Designed primarily for the Mountain Host program with the secondary goal of providing to outside agencies such as: ◦ Companies needing to meet OSHA medical training requirements ◦ Mountain Bike Association ◦ Boy Scouts ◦ Other outdoor programs  Program will consist of both online and practical/didactic components for a total of 12 hours.

 Office will work with Brady to negotiate publishing and use of online capabilities.  Program will be a 3 year certification. Recertification will be by taking entire program.  Teaching will be handled by OEC Instructors.  Affiliates will have access to the program  Book will be developed by Johe/McNamara using resource material from OEC 5.

 Senior OEC Module approved and beta tested during season  OEC Supervisor meeting 9/28-9/29/12 ◦ Certify all Supervisors as Trainer Evaluators in a one day (8hr) program ◦ OEC Supervisors return to Divisions and run Senior TE programs ◦ Senior OEC test scenarios will be distributed by National program starting this year.

 EMT and OEC-T are not the same  OEC-T adequately trains responders to handle snowsports injuries.  Recommend agencies having significant non snowsports medical pathology or prolonged extrication times consider adding EMT’s.
