Presentation transcript:

Five people were interviewed four of those were in favor.   Basically their response was that a website that looks "cool" can be better. The benefits of a design strategy are many. It provides a historical reference point for the project. It seeds much better internal communications for your team. It also supports accountability because the elements are all traceable. In addition a design strategy helps because: your success. Everyone is on the same page; this lets you manage up to your boss, manage down to your team and manage outward to your vendors and stakeholders. you are leading with strategy; Let tactics flow from strategy and guide decisions, not the other way around endless cycles of the same conversation are put to rest so you can get on with the job of advancing the ball down the field you have prioritized your workload by shedding what doesn’t measure up and concentrating on what’s important to your success.  Web Design Strategy Step-by-Step Author: Kathy McShea Published: November, 2008Kathy McShea   Wikipedia (Web design) In conclusion a webpage well structured with a good design strategy it can make people observed in a different way. It can add elegancy and credibility, besides it takes more work and codes, to make a better design. A good-designed website opens doors to more traffic hence increases the business success rate. To be successful you need:   Good decisions   Will to do the work   Availability (Rome wasn't build in one day) This research will give a good strategy for designing a web page. To create a page of impact. That can help you to better advertising. Emphasis will be given to codes that are used to create them. The process of designing web pages, web sites, web applications or multimedia for the Web may utilize multiple disciplines, such as animation, authoring, communication design, corporate identity, graphic design, human-computer interaction, information architecture, interaction design, marketing, photography, search engine optimization and typography.   Markup languages (such as HTML, XHTML and XML)   Style sheet languages (such as CSS and XSL)   Client-side scripting (such as JavaScript)   Server-side scripting (such as PHP and ASP)   Database technologies (such as MySQL and PostgreSQL)   Multimedia technologies (such as Flash and Silverlight) Web pages and websites can be static pages, or can be programmed to be dynamic pages that automatically adapt content or visual appearance depending on a variety of factors, such as input from the end-user, input from the Webmaster or changes in the computing environment (such as the site's associated database having been modified). This research is to inform the public of how the HTML codes in concert with CSS can help liven up a web page. This research gives brief information about the function of each of these elements and the importance of using both codes in an integrated manner. Basically it is expected to show how these two codes can be used in the design of websites that have a positive impact on the users of these sites. Working with both codes could imply spending more time in the development of websites either for fun or to sell something, but in general this integration could promote the use of good website design strategies. Upon completion of this research, it is expected to inform about these website design strategies. -Prof. Irma Alvarez -CCCE -Dr. Angel Caraballo -Dr. Luis Font -Prof. Yamilet Hernandez -Prof. Evelyn Haddock
