Website Editing Click on the “Manage MY FLP BIZ” button after logging in Because this is the advanced class, I’m going to assume that you are all currently subscribing to MyFLPBiz, and are therefore familiar with logging in to your MyFLPBiz office.
Address Book Your reports are going to be your best option for identifying and communicating with your distributors. However, as you begin using MY FLP BIZ regularly and want to begin sending out communications to many of your contacts, friends and associates, you’ll want to add them to your address book, which can be found under the “Address Book” tab. Here you do have the ability to import contacts from an existing account or address book by choosing the import contacts tab.

Here you do have the ability to import contacts from an existing account or address book by choosing the import contacts tab.
Importing Contacts In order to be able to import contacts into your MyFLPBiz address book, you’ll first need to export them from their current location. For instance, if you have existing contacts in a Yahoo, Gmail or Outlook account, you’ll first need to go there and follow the instructions for exporting contacts. It’ll instruct you to save it in a certain format such as excel. Once you’ve exported and saved those contacts to your computer you can come to the import contacts tab within your MyFLPBiz and begin the process of importing those. The first step is to select the format in which you saved the contacts. At that point, import instructions will be displayed in the box to the right. This isn’t a difficult process, but will just require a little extra time.
Adding Contacts To add individual contacts, select the add contact tab. Along with their general contact information, you can identify their level of interest such as whether or not their interested in becoming a distributor or just purchasing product. You can also select what “Type” of contact they are like lead, retail or distributor. Assigning a “type” such as lead will allow you to search your address book for contacts matching that criteria so you can then target your leads for messaging about products and the opportunity. You can also enter their birthday, by entering their birthday, you can filter a search in your address book for upcoming birthdays and send an ecard to those individuals. You probably don’t have cell phone service providers for your contacts, but going forward I encourage you to get that information so that you can include text messaging as one of your forms of communication. Notice the “add note” feature on the left. This is where you would document your interactions with this particular contact in order to help you remember information pertaining to this individual. So I can notate where I met them, and why they’re interested in Forever Living. It will put a date and time stamp with every entry so that I can review these notes before contacting this person. This helps to develop rapport and create loyalty as I’m able to deliver relevant and personal communications to them. The “update list membership” button at the bottom allows me to add them to a previously created distribution group, which will discuss in just a few minutes.

Here you do have the ability to import contacts from an existing account or address book by choosing the import contacts tab.
Scheduling a Follow-Up Once I’ve saved my new contact, I can go back in and schedule a follow up with them. When I’ve entered the type of follow up such as email, ecard, phone call or txt message, the details and a due date, it will add this to my taks list, or if I specify a time for this follow up in will appear in my calendar. Also, when I log into MY FLP Biz office, there will be an alert on my “today at a glance” notifying me of the follow up.
Scheduling Follow-Up So now when I log in, I’m alerted to a task or event that’s due and I can click on it to see the specifics of that notification.
Scheduling Follow-Up Each of my scheduled follow-ups are stored in my task list on the calendar tab. This enables me to come in at anytime to review my tasks to see what still needs to be completed. I can delete them or mark them as complete from here as well.
Address Book Search There are multiple ways for me to search on contacts in my address book. One of those ways is to select the type of criteria I’d like to search on from the drop down box at the top of my screen that’ displaying the words first name. For example, if I choose to search on a first name, I would select it, enter the name in the available box and hit search. So anyone matching that name will be displayed for me to either edit their contact information, send them a message, add them to a distribution group or I can see the history of any messaging I’ve sent them by clicking on the “history” option for that contact. That will show me every ecard or email and when it was sent. Another option I have is to click on the “advanced find” link.
Address Book Search From here I can search on things like interest or birthday. I could search for anyone in my address book with a birthday this month and then send them an ecard.
Address Book Search On the right, where it says “only show” I can select a type of contact such as leads. Once my search has returned all my contacts listed as leads I can either add them to a distribution group or send them a message. Whether I wanted to message them or add them to a group, I would click on the box next to their names, or to select all of them I would click on the box at the top of the column.
Distribution Groups To add them to a distribution group click on the drop down menu displaying the words “more actions” and add them to a previously created distribution group or create a new group to assign them to by clicking on “new list”.
Distribution Groups If I choose to create a new list at this point, I’ll name the list and save it. This list, for example, is my list of leads. Now when I want to create an opportunity ecard to send to my leads, all I have to do is choose the “leads” list that I’ve created when I come to the adding recipients step. When I’m adding a new contact that I’d like to add to my list, I can put them on the leads list while I’m entering them as a contact.
Emessaging Notice the red boxes at the top of the page. You can send, email, ecards, video and text messages directly from your inbox once you’ve identified which group or individual you’re sending them to. So, to recap, you can create each of the 4 types of messaging directly from your address book or from any of the MYFLPBiz reports. Ecards and Video messages can be generated by going directly to the emessaging tab and selecting your recipients from your address book or distribution list. Or an email can be created by going to your address book drop down menu and selecting the email option.
Distribution Groups Why Distribution Groups Targeted Messaging and Marketing More relevant and applicable messaging Avoid mass distributing Don’t be classified as spam The benefit of creating distribution groups like I’ve mentioned is that it enables you to be very specific in your marketing and messaging. I can create distribution groups for leads, customers who buy regularly, my distributors who are managers or are located in a certain area or state. That way I can target my market to my message. By selecting a group I can send them only information that is applicable to their interest. This will increase the likely hood that they will view my communications because I only send them relevant messaging. Also by creating groups, I can send emails and ecards out in smaller numbers as opposed to mass distributing, reducing my chances of being classified as spam. As you begin messaging and marketing using My FLP BIZ I recommend requesting that your contacts add your email address to their safe senders list.
Email, Ecards and Video Messaging MY FLP BIZ Emessaging: Share your Message Promote Products Market the Opportunity Utilize the professionally designed Ecards to approach prospects. Forever Living business owners are about so much more than increasing sales and revenue. You chose this business because you believe in the products and want to share your message about healthy living. Emessaging provides you with an attractive and professional way to do that. Using the ecard templates provided for you from Forever Living you can share your message about health, promote FL products or market the opportunity to friends and associates. Video messaging is a more interactive campaign that can draw your recipients in with questions, music and lively images. These forms of communication are super convenient for both the sender and the recipient, but also, a properly planned and effectively targeted e-marketing campaign can reach the right audience at a much lower cost than traditional marketing methods. Along, with that, such methods are trackable and provide you with measurable results because you have the ability to manage the effectiveness of your efforts using the ecard manager within MYFLP BIZ. You’re able to identify, who has viewed your messages as well as how many times, which will help you prepare what your follow up action will be.
Emessaging Rolling your mouse over the emessaging tab presents 4 headers for you to choose from. “Ecards”, videos, “emessaging settings” and “emessaging manager”.
Emessaging The emessaging setting tab is where you can enter your distributor contact information that will auto populate on your ecards, this information should be the same from what you set up in your profile settings when you first signed up for MYFLPBIZ. I do want to reiterate the importance of having pasting one of your MYFLPBIZ URL’s in the box at the bottom. This will ensure that every ecard you send out has a link to your website.
Emessaging Choosing the “create new ecard” tab will allow you to begin creating your ecard. Based on the message you are wanting to share you would choose an associated template and click on it. The templates that you currently have to choose from are: Special occasion, such as Anniversary, Thank you, and Birthday Welcome, product and opportunity ecards Motivational ecards Reminders And invitations
Emessaging After selecting your ecard template you’ll be brought to a screen where you can enter your content. Most ecards and invites come with pre-determined text but also allow for you to enter your personal message. Notice your distributor contact information pre-populates below the message box. Unique to invites is the “request rsvp” feature at the bottom of the screen. This box is checked by default allowing recipients to either accept or decline your invitation. Once your invitation is complete click next to preview the image and text.
Emessaging From this screen you’re able to see how your invitation will appear and read to your recipients. If you approve of the image and the text, click next again to select your recipients.
Emessaging The first thing you’re going to want to do from this screen is enter the subject of your ecard in the specified box. To enter the contact information for your guests you can either do so manually by typing the addresses in the “recipients box”, or clicking on the “address book” button and choose from contacts that you’ve added to your address book or you can select option 2 that will display previously created distribution groups for you to choose from – which we’ll discuss when we go over our address book. When you’ve entered the recipient information you’re ready to send your ecard.
Emessaging You’re now automatically directed to the “ecard details” page. Here you can view the details of this particular ecard such as the “status”, the percentages of those that viewed the card and if this were an invitation we could see the percentages for those that accepted and declined my message. Below the general card statistics, I’m able to view the status for each of the individual recipients. So I can see who hasn’t viewed my ecard and for those who have I can see exactly how many times they’ve opened it. This is incredibly beneficial in helping you determine how effective your messaging and marketing efforts are and also to conclude what your follow up action will be. As a distributor, I would identify whose status is still displaying “sent”, and make a follow up phone call to verify that I have the correct email address. Once I’ve verified the correct email address I can present my message to that individual while I have them on the phone. For those individuals whom I show as having viewed the card, I can also make a plan to follow up with them. If for example, my ecard manager shows that they have viewed the ecard multiple times since I sent it out, I can conclude that they are interested in my message. If that were a product or opportunity ecard, I could again make a follow up phone call and share my personal experience within the business or about that product.
Emessaging The ecard manager tab is where every ecard or invitation that you’ve ever created or sent is stored. This makes it possible for you to go back at anytime and view the details of that communication or even add additional recipients to a previously created ecard. By clicking on the magnifying glass, I’m directed back to the ecard details page that we were just looking at so that anytime I want to monitor the effectiveness of my messaging, I can click on that ecard and see who has viewed my message. You’ll notice under status that there are some displaying “content added”. This means that I’ve chosen an ecard template and entered the content. But I haven’t approved of the preview or added my recipient, so by clicking on “add recipients” I can do that at anytime. This means that I can create and ecard and come back at anytime to actually send it off.
Emessaging To create a video message, you’ll again go to your emessaging tab, but this time you’ll hover over videos and select an option from there. The video library option is going to take direct me to all corporate videos and any personal videos that I’ve saved.
Emessaging Notice the two tabs; one for corporate videos and the other for your personal videos. When creating a video message, this is where you’ll need to select your video from. So, in order to select a video of your own, you’ll first need to either paste or upload the video into your library.
Emessaging If the video you wish to add to your library is already on your computer, choose the “upload a video” tab. This will walk you through uploading your video and providing a title and description for it.
Emessaging If you have a YouTube account and have the video there, you’ll need to copy the embed code from YouTube and paste it in the appropriate box under the “paste a video” tab in emessaging.
Emessaging Once you’ve uploaded or pasted your videos into your video library, the creation of a video message is similar to the standard ecard. You’ll choose a template that will serve as the back drop for your video message.
Emessaging Just as you did for the ecard, you’ll enter your message in the appropriate box. The message that you enter will appear next to the video message. Again, your distributor information is pre-populated. So you’ll just need to click on the green “choose a video link”
Emessaging That will bring you back to your video library where you can locate either a corporate video or one that you’ve uploaded previously. Double click on the video you want to use.
Emessaging Once you’ve selected the video, hit next to preview it.
Emessaging Here is a preview of what our video message will look like to our recipients. To the left is where the content we entered will be displayed. Notice our distributor contact information as well as a direct link to my website. On the right is your video. The video will begin playing when clicked on. By clicking “next” you’ll select your recipients just as we did on our ecards.
Emessaging The status of your video messages can be reviewed exactly the same way that you would for an ecard. I’m looking at the detail for this particular video message. I can see that Vin Diesel had viewed this message 4 times. This video happens to be about MyFLPBiz, so my follow up action at this point would be to call him and talk to him about some of the benefits of subscribing to MyFLPBiz and maybe share some ways that I use the tools to grow my business.
Text Messaging Text messaging is the most widely used mobile data service with 80% of all mobile phone users worldwide, actively using this messaging service. QUESTIONS: Do you read every eMail you receive? Do you read every text you receive? Alright, there’s one more form of messaging that I want to talk about, and it just so happens to be my favorite – not just because I’m so good at it, but because it’s so convenient and saves me a ton of time. Any guesses? It’s texting. Whether it’s for business, checking on my 7 year old son or arranging a night out, texting is my favorite form of communication when it comes to quick messaging. Regardless or where I am of what I’m doing (with the exception of driving, of course) I can send or receive text messages. When I need to convey a message instantly or need an answer immediately, I am most confident that a text is going to get me my desired results. I recently read that 80% of all cell phone users are also active texters. I want to take a quick survey to see how that statistic measures up to those of us in this room today.
Text Messaging 72% of adults text 87% of teens with a cell phone text 50% of Americans have told someone they love them over text 2% of texters have broken up w/ someone using text msg Less than 10% of texts are SPAM Adults = 10 texts / day Teens = 50 texts / day Practical Uses For Your Business Confirm product delivery Alert Customers to Promotions Remind distributors about team meetings and case credits So this little experiment validates those results. Let’s look at some other random texting-related facts. (read facts) Recently, my boss and I went to our co-worker that oversees our company cell phones to see which one of us had sent the most texts. I think I had sent 1000 +. Practical Uses Confirm product delivery Alert Customers to Promotions Remind distributors about team meetings and case credits If you‘re not a texter and you HATE typing out a message on your tiny cell phone keyboard, you can still use this convenient for of communication through your MYFLPBiz address book and reports module.
Text Messaging Text messages can be sent from your address book or from your report results screen. In order to be able to use this feature, you have to have 2 things from your recipients: you’ll need their cell phone number as well as who their cell phone service provider is. Once you’ve entered that information into your address book you can send bulk text messages to all qualifying recipients. Identify who you want to send a text to, click on their name and then hit the “send bulk text message” button.
Text Messaging If I’ve selected multiple individuals, those with a cell phone and a provider will be displayed at the top. Below that is where I’ll type out my message. Without ever picking up my cell phone, I can send a text message from MYFLPBiz by typing it out on my great big computer keyboard. If you do use the text messaging feature, it will not provide the recipients with your phone number. They will see your email address as the person that sent it and if they “reply” to the message it will be sent to your email inbox. Below the message box you’ll notice a number of names that were not included because they didn’t have either a cell phone or provider on file. So even if you choose to send out a “bulk” text, only qualifying recipients will receive it.
How Fast Can you Text
Reporting Forever Living provides you with a number of reporting options that enable you to manage your business. Included in this section are reports for active case credits, “Path to Manager” which shows you your status for each rank progressing toward manager; the “close to move up” report will identify which of your distributors are close to advancement so you can then keep in contact with them to help them along with their progression. Also from this screen you can run birthday and anniversary reports on a monthly basis to identify those in your team who are celebrating and at that point you can choose to send them and email or an ecard directly from the results screen. You also have a Graphical and Linear view report. So let’s go ahead and actually look at running the linear view report.
Choose your Reporting Criteria From any of the reports, you have the ability to select what information you want returned to you in the report results. For this particular report, I can identify the number of generations I want displayed and below that I can choose from this drop down menu the distributor rank that I want to see. By leaving this on “all”, I will see everyone within my downline. If I wanted to see only my managers and above I could do so my choosing Assistant Manager in the first box and Diamond Centurion Manager in the second box. For this report, I’ve left it on “all” to display my entire downline. For each of these reports you have the ability to target specific information by narrowing the parameters of the search criteria. This enables me to send very targeted messaging and marketing to particular groups within my business, because I can send email, ecards and text and video messages from each of these reports. When I send messages this way, my efforts are more productive and my communications more relevant.
Reporting Output Options After I’ve entered all my selections, I can click on the drop down box displaying the words “web pages” in order to change the output of my report. This is true for any of the reports. For instance, by selecting Excel, the results are then returned to me in a spreadsheet enabling me to manipulate the data any way I choose. I also have the option from any of the reports to create mailing labels for those individuals that I’ve targeted through my criteria selections so I could then send them a physical mailer. At the bottom of each of the report screens are 4 buttons. The “save format” button can be used if there is a report, with specific criteria that you’re running on a regular basis to make it more automated. If I choose this option, it will prompt me to name this report and it’s specifications, at that point I can click on the new report name and run it with my selections anytime but receive updated results. So it saves the criteria, not the results. Reset is going to clear anything you’ve entered and you’ll press “show report” when you’re ready for the results. Let’s look at the “format” button.
Formatting your Report By choosing this button, I can now determine what columns I want displayed with this report my either checking or unchecking the boxes. When I’ve selected my columns, I’ll hit “save formatting”. This will save the formatting for this time. If I come in later and run the same report, the formatting will return to it’s default settings.
Linear View Report The Linear View report is the only place for you as a distributor to see all the generations for your downline. Personal information will only be displayed for your first generation, but all Case Credits and names will be displayed for all generations. This is incredibly powerful to my business. Although I’m not able to contact beyond my first generation, I am able to identify case credits, thereby, informing me of areas in my downline who are possibly at risk of becoming inactive. I can, at that point, get in contact with my 1st generation distributor so that they can try to address any areas of need. Notice the options that I’ve highlighted in red. From the results of any of the reports you’re given the opportunity to now act on this information, because it’s only beneficial to you if use it.
Path To Manager This is the Path To Manager report, it’s going to provide you with a visual of your current rank qualifying status.
Graphical View
Reporting If you click on the reports tab, this summary page will be displayed for you. Along the right hand you’ll find all of the reports listed, and any that you have named and saved will be immediately below that. In the center you’ll have a summary of your case credits.

Website Editing Click on the “My Page” tab to manage your webpages Once you’ve selected names and templates for each of your sites they can be accessed by going to the My Page tab and clicking on “Manage”.
Website Personalization From here you’ll have the ability to select and edit each sight individually. You’ll notice a number of red buttons, each of these buttons allows you to edit the text or choose an image by clicking on it. This gives you the ability to select which products and messages you want displayed as well as allows you to continuously update your site to keep it fresh. By clicking on choose for any of these images, I can determine which image I want displayed as well as the message I want to send.
Website Personalization Inserting A Video Message
Personalization – My Story & Pic As you begin directing leads to your site, there are two areas in particular that you’ll want to update. Potential prospects that visit your site are there to do business with you, so it’s important that as you’re editing your website you upload an image of yourself in the associated box…not your cat, or a new Chevy Camaro. Obviously this is not me, this is me. But when I put together this presentation in good faith for my much more charming and better looking boss Peter to present, I knew he’d want to display a flattering image of himself. Unfortunately, due to his devious tactics, you’re stuck with me. So upload an image of you to make this experience more personal for your prospects. The next area over here is where you can share your story with prospects even when you’re not there presenting personally. For those potential customers and team members that you’ve personally directed to your site, it’s going to be the power of your message, your testimonial about Forever Living Products doing great things for your health, and your experience as an independent business owner improving the lives of others and your own by opening doors of opportunity that previously seemed out of reach – that’s what’s really going to ignite their interest.
Send the Prospect to the right MESSAGE Qualify potential clients based on interest Target Different Leads with a Different Message Multiple URL’s allow you to: Group the right message with the right people Now that we’ve selected 4 templates and assigned them each a unique URL, and we’ve personalized them by adding our picture and our story, let’s talk about why the need for multiple webpages. The benefit of having multiple web sites is that it enables you to send the prospect to the right message. It’s important to target different leads with a different message based on their area of interest. This way, the message that I’m sharing is specific to each client. When you begin your own business, it can be very intimidating to approach friends and family. Often we worry about offending someone and compromising a relationship or perhaps about being rejected. So, for instance, if I’m worried that an associate of mine would not be receptive to learning about the Forever Living business, I can instead direct them to my healthy living website. There is an international interest in health and wellness right now, so inviting them to my site is an unobtrusive way to share Forever Living’s message. At that point I’ve opened the door for them to ask questions and perhaps now I can present Forever Living to them or direct them to my additional sites. Also, having multiple pages will increase your exposure on the internet.
Website Registration A personal web page can be a great business tool. It enables your business to be open 24/7, providing product and opportunity information as well as allowing customers to order around the clock. But like any other tool, you have to put it to use. Let’s talk about some ways you can do that. In the right hand corner your site URL will be displayed. Once you’ve set up each of your sites I encourage you to register each URL with Google by going to the “Page Setup” tab and choosing “register site”.
Website Registration From this screen you’ll paste the associated URL into the appropriate box and click the “add url” button. Registering your website with Google will enable your site to be included in relevant search results.
Keywords Next go back to “Page Setup” and choose “keywords”.
Keywords In the box labeled “Meta Keywords” you should enter terms and phrases that are relevant to your business so that when people enter any of those terms into a search engine like Google or Yahoo it will increase the likelihood that your site will be returned in the search engine results.
Lead Collector One more step I’d like you to take while setting up your sites is to go back to “Page Setup” and select the “Lead Collector”.
Lead Collector This will allow you to choose the information that you want collected from visitors to your site by either checking or removing checks from the boxes at the left. The boxes on the right allow you to determine what information you want potential leads to be required to leave. Below that you may enter a message to be displayed to any visitors.
Lead Collector From this screen you will also want to verify the email address in which your lead notifications will be sent. Another cool option that you have is to enter your cell phone number and provider information, if you choose to do this, you will also receive an alert via text message notifying you of new leads to your webpage. Receiving this notification via text is going to provide you with the ability to act on this alert immediately, while the lead is still potentially on your site. This will help increase your closing percentages.
Lead Collector Preview Page to see how others view your page Now that we’ve identified what information we want collected from our leads and how we want to be notified of it, we can preview what our site will look like to that lead by clicking on “preview page’’.
Lead Collector This is how this site will appear to others
Lead Collector When a visitor clicks on the “contact me” option from your webpage, they’ll be prompted to enter the contact information that we just specified in the “lead collector”. Once a lead has submitted that information, we do 4 things with it: an email notification will be sent to the email address you entered as well as your cell phone and you will also receive a new lead alert on your MyFLPBiz home page and that new lead’s contact information will be added to your MyFLPBiz address book.
Lead Notification Recap When a lead comes into your website we are going to do 4 things w/ that lead: Put it automatically in your address book Pop up an alert on the main page informing you of your lead Send you an eMail with the lead information Send a text message to your cell phone with the lead information We want to make sure that you are aware of that lead as soon as possible because the best time for you to set up a presentation or to convert that prospect is as soon as they’ve expressed interest in Forever Living

Register your URL with Google Include relevant “Keywords” Promote your URL on Facebook & Twitter Place ads on income related and health related websites Include your link as an auto-signature on all ecards and emails Place Key word ads on Google, Yahoo or Bing Your business revolves around your MY FLP BIZ website, your goal, therefore, is to get as many people as you can to visit your site. Let’s talk about some ways that you can do that: After you join Forever living be sure to order business cards, which can be done at foreverliving.com. But first make sure you’ve set up your webpages so that you can have your URL printed on the business cards. Be sure to distribute business cards to EVERYONE you meet Register each of your URL’s with Google so that your site can be returned in search results Include relevant keywords in your page setup in order to increase the likelihood that your web pages will be returned in search engine results Promote your URL on Facebook and Twitter. Social networking was once the domain of people looking for friendships on the web, but now as a business owner you can connect with millions of people enabling you to push your website out to the masses. Placing ads on websites dedicated to income or health can help in driving traffic to your site. The audience has already been targeted, based on their internet search. Since they’ve already been qualified they are now being directed to your page for a subject they’ve expressed interest in. Include your website link as an auto-signature on all outgoing emessages such as ecards, videos and email. This can be set up to auto-populate when you walk through your My FLP BIZ profile and ecard settings. That way recipients that are interested in the message you shared can click on the link to get further information in a low-pressure setting. Key word advertising refers to any advertising that is linked to specific words or phrases. Which means that when someone enters words that are linked to your business, an ad for your web page will be displayed, again one more way to direct traffic to your site.
