UNSATISFIED, UNFULFILLED, NEED A CHANGE 1.Thirsty and broke - Can't pay, worn out, at the end of his rope; they've quit reaching for something better. Your heart feels like burnt out grass - dry and no rain for a long time. Expectations have dried up. Dreams have been put on hold and feel dead. Dead end streets again and again. Empty. Unfulfilled. Dissatisfied. Knowing there has to be something more to life. 2.Self sufficient - Got money, spending it, but frustrated and still not satisfied; still reaching for something better. Still spending, working, dreaming, chasing, searching, experimenting... Different job, city, car, house, wife, kids... New phone, computer, Ipad, books, big screen TV, season tickets, diet, looks... Still a lot of looking around, yearning for something better but still no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. And every triumph, gain, and advance fizzles out. The admiration and applause fades. The new is boring and gets old. Being in style passes and the options getting fewer and fewer.

THE LOST MAN'S MIND NEEDS CHANGED Isaiah 55:6-9 6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

GOD'S THOUGHTS 1.God's thoughts are not our thoughts. 2. God's ways are not our ways. 3. On any given subject, God's thoughts and ways are higher than our thoughts and ways. 4. He sent His Word to change our thoughts and ways.

WHAT IS THE REAL ISSUE? As we look at the unrighteous man's condition what is the problem as to why he has not received abundant pardon and mercy? 1.Is the problem the will of God? 2.Is the problem the provision of God? 3.Is the problem the plan of God? 4.Is the problem the interest of God? No, No, No, No. Why can't God just dump salvation on the unrighteous? It is his thoughts and ways. Wrong thinking -> Wrong Believing -> Wrong Receiving

THE BELIEVERS THOUGHTS NEED CHANGED Acts 10: On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12 Wherein were all manner of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. 16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

GOD'S THOUGHTS ON EVANGELISM 1. Every creature is reachable. 2. Evangelism is for everybody. 3. Soul winners are made not born. 4. The time slot of the harvest is now. 5. There are people ready now to meet Jesus. 6. The field is the world. 7. We can witness with power.
