Writing Prompts PROMPT CHOICES: Choose ONE of the following topics to analyze using The Glass Castle as support:   1. What is the role of that family plays in a person’s life?  Consider the impact of siblings or family on Jeanette’s life. Analyze the relationship between Jeanette and two of her siblings/family members.  2. What is the role that parents play in a person’s life?  Analyze the impact of the parents on a member of the Walls family. What are ways that each parent impacts this person?   3. In a well-developed literary analysis essay, examine a theme from The Glass Castle. Choose a fully developed theme (sentence stating message; not cliché), and trace its development throughout the book.
