 Because ICT (Information and Communication Technology) is a reality and the world in which our children live, it is absolutely necessary that ICT becomes an integral part in achieving our schools’ mission and vision. As such, the world of technology must become our world too.  Consequently, this plan has targeted several goals for all the stakeholders of the schools.

 the integration of ICT in the teaching/learning environment  the adoption of ICT in the everyday life of all users  the provision of necessary resources to enable wide scale use of ICT in the teaching/learning environment  creating opportunity for stakeholder participation e.g. members of school board, PTA  offering opportunity for teachers to develop their professional lives through exposure to training in ICT use in teaching/learning

 We do have some level of ICT usage in the classroom at present such as laptops, multimedia projectors, digital cameras, camcorders, CD and DVD players, radios and overhead projectors.

 There is need to increase the level of infusion of ICT usage to encourage further opportunities for learning among students by offering them a wider range of technology tools that would cater for the various learning styles of our students. According to Howard Gardner there are seven learning styles.

 Linguistic Style  Mathematical Style  Spatial Style  Kinesthetic Style  Musical Style  Relational Style  Introspective Style  Taken from gardner-learning-style.html gardner-learning-style.html
