APPLE PAY A fast, easy, secure way to pay, Apple introduces the ability to link credit cards and make payments via a small NFC (Near Field Communication) chip. Ivan De Los Santos

CALENDAR A calendar is one of the many features that makes the Apple Watch even more practical for everyday life. Having small quick notifications with important information makes life easier and more practical. Ivan De Los Santos

ACTIVITY APP The Activity App provides a simple graphic of the user’s daily activity: Heart Monitor that measures heartbeats through a sensor on the watch Pedometer and altitude measurements GPS not only for maps but also to keep track of distances while walking or cycling Calorie Counter These features along with many other Apps available through Apple make the iWatch a great tool from an Information Technology view because it gives the user a glance into information that was not readily available to him/her. GREAT DEVICE Overall, the Apple Watch provides users not only with fun utilities but also with practical ones. Maybe in the future, a smart watch will not only be able to tell time, browse the internet, read our pulses, but perhaps they will also be able to take x-rays, measure our temperature, blood pressure and many other medical and non- medical abilities. The technology can only get better and will come sooner rather than later. Ivan De Los Santos
