People smoke because of the tobacco industry and advertising 18 million dollars per day is spent !!!!!!!! Just thinks about all the starving people in the world we could feed with this money. The tobacco industry actively targets teenagers: year olds. Phillip Morris is actively seeking new smokers in Asia.

Advertising affects your unconscious mind: The Russian scientist Pavlov Aversion therapy sends negative associations to the unconscious about smoking. It helps to reduce the craving. Students and others are especially vulnerable when put under new stresses.

Asthma It is a chronic disease that affects the airways. The airways become swollen, inflamed, fill with more mucous, and become irritated. A wheezing sound can be heard.

Summary: The major parts of the respiratory system are the trachea, bronchus, bronchioles and alveoli. Tobacco has chemicals that damage the lungs ability to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide. The tobacco industry spends billions each year to try to get you hooked. There are free smokers help lines and organizations, always get help.
