Secondly, studies showed that writing by hand increases neural activitys. They had 2 groups right by hand and the other by keyboard. Reasearchers found that the neural activity in the first group was was far more advanced and adult like. Finally, several studies showed that good handwriting makes you seem smarter. Professor Steve Graham discovered that the same mediocre essay will score much higher if written with good penmanship and much lower if written out in poor handwriting. An IPad, IPhone, T.V, anything, those waves projecting the light off the device kills your eye sight, which will make you go blind faster.Another benefit from longhand writing is your ideas on your brain will generate faster and will have a better quality. This is because when you are typing study shows your ideas aren't flowing than when you are writing. So when you write your brain is working harder. Last but not least handwriting makes kids smarter because technology has auto correct. For example say your child is in the 3rd grade & doesn't know how to spell the word " important ". Instead of learning the word, your child has auto correct on their mobile device ( such as a cell phone) & the phone spells " important " automatically.
