Fashion In 1950, the Teddy Boy had come arrived and was a very popular fashion. The biggest hit of fashion after 1948 was the mini-skirt. Some were only 12 inches long! Music 1950 and onwards The Beatles were a massive hit within the country, they brought a new word to music, which was “ROCK.” Elvis Presley was a very famous singer around the whole world, and was also a rock star. ABBA arrived on the scene and the Beatles where toppled. In the 1990s, The Spice Girls had shocked the country with their band moving to the top of the charts.
