Company History Founded in 1971 in Seattle, Washington. More than 17,600 stores in the United States. Located in more than 50 countries. Not just a cup of coffee anymore: Fresh food, beverages, Starbucks Ice Cream. Expanded outside of its retail locations: Coffee and tea products are sold through supermarkets and paid concessions.
