PROJECT GEOGRAPHY: UKRAINE – Odessa Region Republic of Moldova – Kahul Region Romania – Galati County

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT: Increase the competitiveness of SMEs by integrating them into cross border business network and internationalization of their activities

MAIN AXES OF THE PROJECT:  Internationalization of small and mid-size entrepreneurship;  Facilitation of business network;  Professionalization of human recourses;  IT instruments in business.

TARGET GROUPS: Small and mid-size enterprises Business support structures Regional/local authorities

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:  To facilitate networking between SMEs and business supports institutions in the border regions of the project territory  Professionalization of regional business support structures in the Odessa Region driven by the results of the in-depth analysis of SMEs needs

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:  To give SMEs the opportunity to enter the neighboring markets strategically and to optimize the likelihood of the establishment of a successful long term presence in the neighboring country  To facilitate access to business-consulting services using IT tools

EXPECTED RESULTS:  Establishment and formalization of Business Support Network – BSN  Specialists of regional business support structures in bordering regions are trained in the priority themes defined by the in depth research of SMEs needs

EXPECTED RESULTS :  Increasing of practical knowledge of pre-selected SMEs in the sectors of export and investment promotion  Identification and facilitation of commercial links and promotion of long-term business partnerships between companies and other enterprises in bordering regions

MAIN PROJECT ACTIVITIES: Arrangement of workshops, trainings and presentations; Conducting of researches; Development and creation of B2B Portal, on-line knowledge base and Help Desk for SMEs; Organization of Cross Border Business Forum; Drafting and publication of presentation and methodological materials; Promotion of cross-border cooperation; Support provision to previously selected SMEs
