Wp1 Human Factors Analysis The workshops and interviews resulted in an extensive overview of needs and a list of preferred ICT-solutions/functionalities that could help persons with dementia in their daily life, could enhance their feelings of autonomy and improve their quality of life.

WP2 – Technical Development, Services and Applications Objectives –Translating findings from user analyses into technical specifications. –Development of a suite of multi-modal interfaces to deliver reminders. –Development of a remotely configurable mobile solution. –Development of a home- based visual interface

Current Status Development of the core operating management system of the mobile device. Use of existing hardware solutions for the mobile device (smart phone). Technology: J2ME + Windows Mobile libraries Function establishment of the communications modules for GSM, GPRS and GPS based communications with the central facility in addition to short range mobile communications (WiFi) Data requirements for the user’s schedule stored on the phone Support of remote configuration
