Integrating simulation tools “Many models are difficult to integrate with GIS…because of a lack of standards governing data formats, and there is also a need for greater standardization in the languages in which model software is written. Both of these factors impede the goals of geodesign, because they make it difficult to implement many models as simple functions of a geodesign software environment.”
