Overview September September 2012 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Quality Assurance Primary Objectives: Gain educational and administrative experiences from Dudley College to improve performance levels and to develop the quality assurance system, leading to highly-qualified graduates empowered with skills for employability; Develop the Institutes major curriculum in general and the cooling and air conditioning curriculum in particular; Develop self-assessment and inspection policies and procedures
Three achievements New Quality Assurance Department being established in the partner institution Additional work carried out – College QA staff trained Yemeni inspectors in Egypt Delegation visited the UK after the Arab Spring
One challenge Visas – Obtaining visas between Yemen and the UK has been problematic. Use of a third country - Egypt
Two benefits Professional development – TII are now in a position to launch their new Quality Assurance department Opening doors – As a result of this project, Dudley College has developed work in Bahrain, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia
