Structural Analysis of the Text  This text is a first-person narration of an incident that occurred to the author on her home-bound flight, when the plane was hit by lightning. This text is well organized, with a beginning,a body and an end. The narration is concerned with people, with their actions feelings and emotions. The happenings are presented mainly in the order of their occurrence, i.e., in chronological order. The narration revolves around the characters and is dominated by actions. The aim of a narrative text is not always just to tell the reader what happened; more often than not, it sends a message to the reader, which,in some cases is implied, and in others explicitly stated.
