NATIONALISM – is a feeling of pride, loyalty and protectiveness as a country

By the time Monroe ran for a second term in 1820, no candidate opposed him. ERA OF GOOD FEELINGS

Sectionalism People begin to become more concerned with their individual section or region than the nation as a whole North vs South and East vs West…….
