AANP Office of Health Policy AANP aims to positively change patient lives and the healthcare system by influencing state-level policies to effectively utilize nurse practitioners in meeting patient care needs. Indentify, connect and support state-level policy initiatives. Assist in developing and analyzing legislation and regulation that influence NP practice & patient care. Develop and share policy related resources. Cultivate strong state-level nurse practitioner leaders. AANP’s State Government Affairs
