Welcome to St. Peter! Today by God’s grace we are privileged to begin a new Church Year. The first season is Advent which means “coming”. Our hymns, prayers and Scripture readings for this First Sunday in Advent remind us how judgment is coming, but in Jesus, our Advent Savior, there is deliverance for God’s people.

Prayer of the Church Pastor: Eternal Father, throughout the centuries you repeated and affirmed your promise to send the offspring of the woman to crush the serpent’s head. Through your prophets of old, you continually directed the eyes of your people to the advent of their Savior.
