The NFOG Clinical Visitor Program Program started in DKK allocated per year 31 specialists have visited another Nordic country through this program. In 2008, 2 applications were supported: In 2009, 5 applications were supported: Positive feedback from all parties. Reports of the visits have been published in national bulletins and on the website of NFOG.

The NFOG Collaborative Program Program started in 2008 To encourage scientific collaboration between at least two Nordic countries DKK allocated per year 2008: 4 applications were supported (for 2009) 2009: 3 applications were supported (for 2010) NFOG Fund to replace and expand both Visitor and Collaborative Programs…

Twinning programme FIGO has organized twinning to 12 developing countries to strengthen their National Societies of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Pakistan has been twinned to Sweden. Nigeria has been twinned with Denmark. 2 colleagues from Pakistan and 1 from Nigeria were invited to the NFOG Congress 2010.

The Educational Committtee Established by the NFOG Board in 1990 Focus on educational matters, mainly for Nordic specialists in Obstetrics & Gynecology. NFOG Website

The NFOG website, was established in The number of daily visitors has increased steadily from an average of 20 in 2004 to about 50 in 2010.

In the last two year period the activities on the website consisted of: The publication of minutes of the board meetings and General Assembly. The thesis registry has been updated regularly. The thesis registry lottery was introduced in 2008 in order to attract authors to submit new theses. This has attracted some more theses after a period of declining numbers. Various courses of interest to Nordic colleagues have been made available and frequently updated.

The numbers clearly show a decrease in thesis submission from the year As early as in spring 2008 the board became aware of this tendency and thus, the thesis registry lottery was introduced in order to attract more submissions. Nevertheless, the number of submissions has declined further.
