IPHC Communication Services October 26, 2010

The Church Survives on Communication The message, without communication, is confined to the originator. Multiple- mode communication was God’s idea first. –Prophets, Judges –Types in the OT –Jesus – The Word –The Holy Spirit (Direct, Personal Communication)

Our Communication Must Be... Relevant – pertains to the matter at hand; Pertinent Dynamic – vigorously active or forceful; Energetic; Effective. Demonstrative – serving to demonstrate; explanatory or illustrative. serving to prove the truth of anything; indubitably conclusive.

While the message remains constant, multiple media must be used to reach a diverse target audience.

In our time, the available means of communication and the technology related to those means are constantly changing. We are continually offered new ways to communicate an unchanging message.

The role of Communication Services is to remain knowledgeable of the available communications media and the related technology and assist ministries by making those media available.

Branding the IPHC What is Branding? Branding should reflect reality. Initial Plan presented at the next COB meeting. Will include 30 – 60 second video segments suitable for congregations and local TV. Branding concepts?

Conclusion New methods and technology are on the way. We are still rebuilding our infrastructure and have many improvements to make. We are committed to continual improvement and to doing what it takes to make sure the message of the IPHC and the Kingdom of God reaches the intended recipients. We exist to serve you as you serve Him.
