Raw material (Iron Ore) Availability in Karnataka The reserves of iron ore in the state, are estimated at more than 9000 Million tons, the bulk of which is magnetite ore. Steel Hub of India – a planned and integrated development of Steel Driven Industrial Urban Complex, in an area sq. mtr. of land is being developed by VADA (Vijaynagara Area Development Authority) in Bellary District.
