School & Class Description To get us started, we would like to ask you about how classes are organized at your school. If you teach multiple courses within a given subject area, we’ll also ask about the number of different courses you teach. Departmentalized Instruction: teachers are assigned to specific subjects across multiple classes of students. Teachers may be assigned to multiple courses within a subject. Subject Area Specialist (non-deparmental): teachers specialize in a particular subject, but the school is not organized by subject area departments.
