SMNED in schools Teacher lounges – Topic usually placed for one month – Don’t use same topics being used at other times during school year (health fairs, Food Power, notebooks) – Publication numbers for posters and handouts on share drive

SMNED in schools Teacher notebooks – Left at school for usually one month – No more than 4 display topics in a notebook – Don’t use same topics being used at other times during school year (health fairs, Food Power, notebooks) – Forms and instructions on share drive

Reporting SMNED in schools Use Indirect Program Information Form (PIF) Use one PIF per display topic List SMNED-Topic – Use titles listed on FNEP website Only teacher numbers need to be reported – Get teacher numbers from school

SMNED in Use only SMNED displays that align with Food Power topics (see guidance) No more than 2 displays at a Food Power exhibit Manned by NPA Don’t use same topic at other times during same school year Do NOT report separately – Capture through Food Power Program Information form

SMNED in WIC Use only select SMNED displays that align with WIC MOWINS topics – Guidance, forms and handouts on share drive Use with both FNP and EFNEP Use display and accompanying participant handout Displays are unmanned and left in WIC waiting area Use Consent Form (Form 01-1Q) NPA completes WIC confidentiality form annually (can do at same time as Consent Form )

SMNED in agencies and sites Use with adults only Include corresponding participant handout – Do not use school handout with participants – Publication numbers and print-on-demand files on share drive NPA works with agency administrator to capture indirect contact numbers from their caseload numbers

Reporting SMNED in agencies/sites Use Indirect Program Information Form List SMNED-Topic – Use titles listed on FNEP website Only report total numbers (not demographics) If display is set up for multiple weeks – Report as ONE event – Include range of dates Do NOT complete multiple PIFs for the same display set up in the same site for multiple weeks

FNEP State Displays Use only approved FNEP State Displays – See list on guidance Use with youth and adult audiences

Reporting FNEP State Displays Use Indirect Program Information form List as FNEP state display-topic Use title listed on guidance If display used at health fair, include agency name and name of the display
