STRATEGY OVERVIEW SOURCES Two very useful sources for an overview of strategies will be very useful to you as a new teacher.

ONTARIO CURRICULUM UNIT PLANNER GO TO Select “Teaching/ Learning Strategies” Click on the “Strategies Chart” tab at the bottom of the screen. If you click on any strategy, it will provide a definition, description, and illustration of how to use the strategy. BE SURE TO CLICK ON “EXIT” OR “DONE” WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED! Teaching In The Elementary School by Eby and Herrell pp Provides an overview of strategies with some theory to support the efficacy of the strategy.
