How do I access the database? It can be accessed through the internet with the address 1.Here look for “useful Resources” 2.Click “The Water Supply Database” 3.Enter your login details and gain access to the database NB: Your user type is “National Viewer” The user type is limited to only viewing the data BUT can NOT EDIT, DELETE or ADD any data to the database. How do I get the update forms? Click “Update Forms” Click “Form 4: Point Water Source (Print)” Use the filters to select the sub-county of your choice and the click “GO” NB: You can export to excel or print it directly in the standard format WSDB has only got “DROPDOWN LIST” filters which work from:- – Left to Right – Top to Bottom

How do I get sources with wrong coordinates? Click “Update Forms” Click “Wrong Coordinates (Point Sources)” Use the filters to select the administrative unit of your choice then click “Go” NB: The report tells you which coordinate is wrong (whether Easting or Northing) You can export the list to excel
How I get standard reports? Login View Data Click “Reports” Select a Report Select a the report you would like to view from the drop down list Click “Go” Filter Select Filters of your choice Click “GO” to display report Or Click “Back” to return to list of reports View Report Look at the report generated Printing NB: Browser printing Click “Print Report” Opens in new ”tab” Click “File” Click “Print” or “Print preview” Exporting to Excel Click “Export to Excel”

How do I get indicator trends of a region? Click “View Data”. Look for “Trend Analysis Reports”; the under these words are 3 sub-links namely:- National Trend Analysis This report shows the national indicator trends since District Trend Analysis This report show the District indicator trends since 2010 Sub-county Trend Analysis This report shows the Sub-county indicator trends since 2010 Click on the report of your choice; then use the filters to generate the trend report of you choice NB: You can “Export to Excel” & “Print” these reports
National Trend Analysis Report Click “View Data” Click “National Trend Analysis” Select a down time of your choice Click “GO” to generate report NB: You can “Export to Excel” & “Print” these reports
District Trend Analysis Report Click “View Data” Click “District Trend Analysis” Select an Indicator from the drop down list then click “GO” to generate report NB: You can “Export to Excel” & “Print” these reports
Sub-county Trend Analysis Report Click “View Data” Click “Sub-county Trend Analysis” First Select region from which the sub-county(s) whose trends you would like to view Second select the an Indicator from the drop down list then click “GO” to generate report NB: You can “Export to Excel” & “Print” these reports

How do I get Administrative? Click “View Data”? Click – List of Administrative Units – List of Mother District – List of Mother Admin – List of All Surface Area Figures – List of Municipal Councils – List of Town Boards – List of Town Councils
