WHAT IS THE NATURE OF INNOVATION? ASK THOSE WHO USE IT Petrusheva Evgenya, group 688 Language supervisor – Nedogibchenko M.

In a market transformation of economy of Ukraine it is very important to develop new technologies and learn from developed countries Relevance of the study of Japan’s innovativeness is that the country is an example of rapid economic development.

The economists who examined the concept of innovation: J. Schumpeter (the author of a “bible” for innovation economics), Paul Romer, Elhanan Helpman, Eric Beinhocker, W. Brian Arthur, Robert Axtell, Richard R. Nelson, Richard Lipsey, Christopher Freeman etc.

Japanese major achievement is that theory and practice are not scattered. They set clear objectives and careful work. Nature of innovation in Japan is based on the fact that Japanese companies are changing throughout their lives, constantly, slowly, quietly improved. It is Kaizen, a Japanese management philosophy, the promises big rewards through continuous incremental change. Kaizen is achieved as a result of coordinated efforts by all employees - a gradual upgrade. Unlike Japanese management, other countries prefer extreme changes, which often don't work, eventually they lose vigilance and hence efficiency.

Principles observed by Japanese corporations making management decisions, taking into account long-term perspective, even if it hurts short-term financial goals deciding leisurely consensus considering all possible options. Implement the decision without delay building process so as to create a continuous flow that will effectively ensure the creation of value visualizing each problem and taking it to the general discussion, so that none of them go unnoticed

paying special attention to the domestic consumer who you work for, give what he needs at the right time and right amount using reliable proven technologies. Before you implement them into production test them properly on real conditions educating leaders who know their work perfectly and follow the management philosophy and can teach others excluding changes in technologies that are at odds with the culture of the company, which can impair its stability, reliability or predictability. But encourage people not to forget about new technologies when it comes to finding new ways of improving the company.

Having investigated the nature of innovation in Japan, we can say that the first systematic approach gives good results in the long term. -Ukraine needs to build a serious business relying on experience, known bugs and errors countries already developed. -We also have a big disadvantage in workers motivation and responsibility. International experts said that Ukrainians have a low level of responsibility in work.
