Project Lead The Way National organization developed to increase participation in engineering experiences at the middle and high school levels. Standards-based curriculum to increase student readiness at the University level. Curriculum developed by middle and high school technology teachers, university professors, and engineers.

Project Lead The Way Continued Wayzata implemented PLTW in fall of Students can earn university credits (up to 3) if 85% for course and 70% on the final exam are achieved. 72% of students earned University credit last semester in Principles of Engineering 70% of students earned University credit last semester in Civil Engineering
