Volunteers will help freshman move in on the morning of August 24. › Drive to main gate to have a volunteer assigned to you. › Volunteer will accompany you to the dorm. › Volunteer will arrange for luggage carts.
After moving in, volunteer will help you set up your computer and demonstrate accessing the library and other online services.
Volunteer will explain how to avoid long lines at the bookstore and how to order online. Volunteer will accompany you to the bookstore for a firsthand look around.
8:30 AM – 11 AM › Student check-in at Main Gate. Students will register Volunteer Experience staff and receive room keys from Residential Services. 12:00 PM-1:00 PM › Student-Parent Orientation Session at South Campus Hall. Answering any questions or concerns. 1:00 PM › Student lunch at the Main Dining Room. students divide into their groups, parents are on their own for lunch. 5:15 PM – 7:00 PM › Barbeque at North Campus. Get to know everyone with activities. Incase of bad weather, we will move indoors. 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM › Break to relax in rooms and unpack. Campus tours also. 9:00 PM – 10:30 PM › Choice of bowling or miniature golf. Price included in the program fee

Sample some dining, students will divide up in interest. 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM › Game Night Hang out in Southwest Hall. 9:00 PM › Movie. Divide into groups to view favorite summer flicks.
