Meet the Teacher This is my 3 rd year teaching at Heron Lake Grace Expecting

Behavior Management No daily behavior sheets (unless needed) Behavior Calendar – Color weekly behavior (green, yellow, red) – Goes home on Fridays – Parents initial (possible note from teacher) – Return to School Monday – New calendar for each month

Fridays PLC Fridays (all except the last couple of the school year) – dismissed at 2pm Newsletters (important notes, spelling words, what we are learning) Behavior Calendars (Return Monday) Spelling Homework (Return by Wednesday) Math Homework (Return by Wednesday) Book Orders (not every Friday)

Other Homework Read each night (Book It - Pizza Party) – Have your child read to you – Read with your child – Read to your child Ask them to tell you about what they learned “Ketchup” Work Missed Work

Miscellaneous If your child will be gone or going home a different way, please send a note or Bring a healthy snack each day (peanut free, 100% juice) – Purchase milk ticket in office if you’d like $52/year or $14/quarter

Miscellaneous Lunch money – Look for note (after you charge $10, student will only get sandwich and milk) Healthy birthday treats “All About Me” Bag Gym & Music everyday Headphone available in office for $6
