Grand Canalscape Goals Goal: –Provide a convenient canal pedestrian and bicycle path from Central Phoenix to Tempe –Drive pedestrian and bicycle traffic to canal –Re-integrate canal into local neighborhoods Project focus: –Street crossings –Contiguous commuter trail –Neighborhood street connections Limits: –15 th Avenue to Tempe City Limits

Canalscape Trail Features All trails must be at least 10-foot wide Must include pedestrian lighting Must include pedestrian and bicycle links to neighborhood streets May contain art, trail furniture and landscaping Trails are to be maintained by City of Phoenix
