Statistics on American K-12 Public Education While most parents think their children are receiving a quality education, the majority of American students are falling behind their international counterparts. The consequences to our country are dramatic.

Every 26 seconds a U.S. high school student DROPS OUT of school.

JA Core Purpose To inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Focus on 3 Pillars of Learning Entreprenuership Workforce Readiness Financial Literacy

JA History Founded in 1919 JA started as a collection of small after- school business clubs for students in Springfield, Massachusetts. JA now reaches more than 11 million young people worldwide each year.

JA North Alabama History Huntsville office founded in Merged with Decatur office in Jan 2009 Recently formed Marshall Co. District summer 2011 Now serves 12 counties - 11 in North Alabama, 1 in Tennessee Teaches approximately 10,000 students each year!
