AGEP Data Template Changes: Departments of Focus On the instruction sheet, for each of the disciplinary areas; mark X if the area is not a focus of your AGEP; if an area is one of AGEP focus, please indicate the year the focus began. Descriptions of the disciplinary areas can be found in the Survey of Earned Doctorates (SED) online

Enter the total number of Bridge to the Doctorate students enrolled in your institution in the green cell to the right AGEP Data Template Changes: Bridge to the Doctorate In the instruction sheet enter the total number of Bridge students. This total should not be broken out by discipline or student race/ethnicity.

Other AGEP Data Template Changes New Table: Masters degree recipients by race/ethnicity, sex and residency status for through New definition of Graduate Student Advance to Candidacy: Completing all requirements for the PhD except the completion of the dissertation.

Some Ways to Load the Data Template Copy/Paste from Excel. Copy/Paste from Access. Use Microsoft Query in Excel. Write Scripts (programs tightly coupled to software applications). Data may need to be grouped, aggregated and sorted before these loading techniques can be used.
