Our Make Project  We wanted to make and learn how to run a YouTube channel effectively, teaching the basics of a sport. Mostly basketball.

One of our videos

Our Average Week  Monday- Write Script  Tuesday- Film  Thursday- Edit  Friday- Post  We usually documented twice or three times a week

Challenges/struggles  Some challenges we faced were partners not showing up and the time framed. We constantly found that we were struggling for more time because we didn’t use our time as wisely as we could have. We also had filming troubles including space to film, bad weather and interruptions from people.  Insert clip here

How we dealt with challenges  Most of the challenges that we faced required us to stay on track and problem solve. The biggest problem we had was time. We dealt with our lack of time by using the last one and a half weeks trying hard, buckling down and getting work done. This included filming, editing and posting.

Our Work Ethic  At the begging of the project we thought we had more time than we did so we spent the first week and a half outlining our project and looking at other YouTube channels for inspiration. After we realized we didn’t have as much time as we thought we started working much harder. This was one of our biggest problems.

Our Success  At the begging of our project we made a rubric of success to gauge how well we did a the end of the project. If we evaluated ourselves according to this rubric we honestly did not score 3s on any (the highest rating out of 3 on our rubric) and scored 1s and 2s on all of the aspects or our project.

What we learned  We learned how to many things including editing videos, inputting and exporting videos from the iPad to the computer. Above all and the biggest thing we learned was teamwork, time management and problem solving. With these three things done better our project would have been much better than it is.

Project Reflection  Overall, throughout the past few weeks we have learned a lot. We have learned to overcome problems and power through them. We have had successes at times and failures at others. Looking back, we would have changed how we managed our time, we also realized this was our downfall, but we also realized that we can manage our time better and this we help us for the next time.
