Kentucky Real Estate Trends  Increases in remodeling as compared to new construction 12 Biggest Remodeling Trends for 2011 The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) conducted a poll of their top builders and remodelers – found that most people are not starting major renovation projects, but rather smaller projects. Number 9 on the list was “Going Green.” Bamboo floors, grass thatched roofs, bark siding are the more exotic improvements but in addition people are getting energy efficient upgrades.
