Region Vision Statement IEEE Members and society benefit from the effective role played by the Region.

Region Mission Statement The Region provides a two-way link between the IEEE Corporation and the geographically- located Sections to implement the IEEE Corporate Strategic Plan and through the Sections, ultimately benefit the IEEE members and society.

Goals for 2011 Region 1 SPC 1. Review current strategic plan and determine whether it is still valid. Revise as necessary. 2. Determine what changes are required to Region 1 operations to implement the plan. 3. Establish a timeline for suggested changes together with a priority or ranking of their importance or feasibility of implementation.
