12-CRS /12 Training Strategy remote training model –CLE content over webinar platform –Co-leaders: R1 and CLE Volunteers –Asynchronous and recorded for future use – Build a library for new volunteers How do other regions train volunteers? –At the section/area level –Using individual, remote training opportunities –Grooming through apprenticeship/mentoring (Vice Chairs and Committees) –NO OTHER REGION uses the legacy R1 face-to-face training model, but many would if they could afford it. –Financial constraints restrict face-to-face training

12-CRS /12 R1 Training Approach Region 1 Training Course Catalog, Curriculum –Walkthrough –Active Curriculum: –Asking all volunteers proceed with job-specific training Key Benefits –Collaboration and consistency with other regions –CLE Quality –Personalized training on personal time –Available when needed for new volunteers Launch: –Area Chairs to facilitate training for their sections –Facilitate individual training plans –Measure progress
