Founded by the IT commission. Further developed by IIS in conjunction with PTS and Swedish Consumer Protection Board (Konsumentverket). URL tptest.iis.se Internetdagarna (The Internet Days) A yearly two day conference about the Internet infrastructure, security and usage. Gathers most of the Swedish Internet community. Investigation and research work II-stiftelsen does their own investigations, supports research and standardization work within among others DNS. In 2002 a new Internet study was initiated. NIC-SE Network Information Centre Sweden AB12 Sunrise rules at the introduction of IDN If there exists a previous registration for the same name but without diaresis you get priority to registraing the same with diaresis according to prevoius published table: Translitteration å ---> a, aa ä ---> a, ae ö ---> o, oe ü ---> u, ue é ---> e Priority gets all that has registered before 11 june 2003 (time for the deciscion of this rule was taken). Only one registration allowed per classical domainname In the case two or mor applicants apply for the same name, the one one with oldest registration date has precedence.

For 15 domainname the several applicants, in which case the ones with the oldest registartion dates was allocated the name. The new registration queue contained applications for unique domainnames. For 962 domainname there was more than one applicants. Selection of applicants was made according to random selection (lottery) in the same way as for the liberalisation transition in april 2003.
