Our Issues NZFS not funded for non- mandated activities e.g. MVA, Hazsubs etc. Increasing number of road incidents and medical assistance calls has a detrimental effect on our Volunteer Fire Brigades. Often a lack of structured and/or formalised Command & Control at incidents. Lack of involvement in the planning stages of roadway construction projects.
