Use LabVIEW and Vision Assistant Determine the presence and the percentage of water in the cup

Problem Found Don’t know the cup height(Because camera is on the top, Image will become 2D), so it only can be used in paper cup. We have to determine the presence and the percentage of water in the cup, but we don’t have water outlets. Flow chart isn’t correct.

The first found relevant patent. Because this method has been registered, So it can't be used. I can’t find other related patents untill now.

Use the chemical experimental equipment to simulation of water flow down from a height.

Discussion Is it possible that transparent cup can use this method? Why error can be ignored? Why not? Any other methods?(Lower price)
