Here the baker said this is the sandwich you ordered. “I love cookies and ice cream!” bellowed Jessica. “Hey,” George exclaimed, “My dog learned a new trick.” “Where did you put your socks?” asked my mom. “Here,” the baker said, “this is the sandwich you ordered.”

Some times quotations include another quotation. The included quotation is marked with single quotation marks. Laura asked “who said ‘to be or not to be’?” Michael asked, “ Who said ‘give me liberty or give me death’?” Michael asked, Who said give me liberty or give me death? Laura asked who said to be or not to be?

Sometimes quotation marks are used to set off the titles of stories, poems, songs, magazine and newspaper articles, individual episodes within television series, and radio programs.
