WP Review 1.What is the bar at the bottom of the screen? 2.Which button takes the screen back to its original? 3.What is anything typed on computer? 4. Which bar can you choose from? 5. Which program allows you to type?

to move the cursor around to go up or down a line or many lines to move left or right a character or characters

to switch between edit mode and overstrike mode. OVR at the bottom of the screen displays that you are in overstrike. You do not want the OVR showing because you always want to be in edit mode.

to take the cursor to the beginning of a line. to take the cursor to the end of a line.

Backspace to erase letters to the left. to erase letters to the right.

to make the entire word all CAPTIALIZE. to only capitalize one letter.

Keys that carry out specific things. One key to perform something. Examples: Tab – indent Enter – go to next line Backspace – erase Shift keys – capitalize a letter CAPS – capitalize entire word

Keys that carry out different operations. Two keys held together to perform something. Examples: Alt Ctrl Note: These two keys are located on both sides of the spacebar.
