Oral Citations Make sure to give the author, year, and title if applicable For example –“According to Livesay in 2007, in an article entitled Emotional expressivity, psychological gender, and relational satisfaction: Towards a “recipe” for satisfying romantic relationships, there were no significant sex differences in reported levels of relational satisfaction.”

After naming the article (or book) the first time, you can cite the same study from then on like this: “Livesay, in 2007, found that femininity was significantly correlated with relational satisfaction.” Oral Citations
