Juarez – ~720,000 of 4.5 million tires removed (16%) Other communities are also beginning to remove tires

In Region 9 $262,000 spent in tire clean up (labor and trucks) SEMARNAT contributed much in-kind EPA funds capacity building and demonstration projects Eagle Pass pays $1/passenger tire and $2/truck tire to dispose CEMEX in Monterrey is taking around 15,000 tires per month Need to leverage dollars by forming private-public partnerships to come up with regional solutions NADBank
