Emergency PFAs Issued by a Magisterial District Judge -- not Common Pleas Court Judge Valid for 24 hours or until Court is available Emergency PFAs CANNOT be entered into PFAD -- even if they are used to create a temporary order PFAD cases begin with petition or temporary order
