Why Survey Volunteers? Benefits of volunteering: Can promote a sense of ones ability to complete tasks and reach goals (self-efficacy) Can foster a stronger sense of being connected to others (social ties). Demonstrate results for Senior Corps program Provide stronger evidence through use of comparison group design FGP and SCP Volunteer Survey4

Overview: How Grantees will Contribute FGP and SCP grantees are required to conduct the survey. FGP and SCP volunteers are being asked to complete the survey, but their participation is voluntary. Goal: More than 85 percent of volunteers complete a survey Dates: The survey was posted April 15. Collect and turn in all surveys by June 17. FGP and SCP Volunteer Survey5
