Americas Promise Three Action Initiatives: Where They Are, All Kids Covered, and Ready for the World Awareness: Dropout Summits

All Kids Covered SCHIP and the challenge of covering all kids Potential role for state commissions and AmeriCorps programs

Dropout Summits Goal is to raise awareness of dropout crisis Funded by State Farm Insurance and Civic Enterprises, LLC Roles for state commissions

Dropout Summits Summit Locations and Timeline Early Learning Summits: In the summer of 2007 the Alliance decided to provide seed funds to 3 states and 10 communities to hold dropout summits before the end of the school year. These pilot summits will inform the broader series of summits envisioned over the next two years by providing sample agendas, outreach materials, and other effective practices.
