Why do people have accidents? 1. Distractions 2. Not using safety precautions 3. Not following directions

Are you more or less likely to have an accident if you are under stress? MORE!

Who is responsible for preventing slipping and falling? Custodian Teacher Your classmates You EVERYONE

What should you not do in a chair? Tip it Stand on it Move around the room in it Lift it Tip someone else’s

Sitting stress is reduced by what? The right kind of chair

What should you use to reach something high? Stool OR Stepladder
